Description

The Utah Concealed Firearm Permit (CFP) is widely recognized across the United States and is one of the most sought after permits.
The state of Utah has formal reciprocity agreements with 17 states, and an additional 16 states honor Utah's permit.  Utah CFP holders can legally carry in 33 states.

Our class is taught by a Utah Certified Concealed Firearms Instructor.  The course meets the minimum curriculum requirements of the Utah Department of Public Safety Bureau of Criminal Identification.

Course Length

4 Hours (Additional time may be necessary for fingerprinting and photos.)

3. Ammunition
4. Fundamentals of Shooting a Handgun
5. Safe Handling
6. Firearms and the Law: Possession, Ownership, and the Use of Deadly Force

Prerequisites

Minimum requirements for application for a concealed firearms permit in Utah are:

Applicant must be at least 21 years of age

Proof of good character...whereas the applicant;

has not been convicted of a felony;

has not been convicted of any crime of violence;

has not been convicted of any offense involving the use of alcohol;

has not been convicted of any offenses involving the unlawful use of narcotics or other controlled substances;

has not been convicted of any offenses involving moral turpitude;

has not been convicted of any offense involving domestic violence;

has not been adjudicated by a court of a state or of the United States as mentally incompetent, unless the adjudication has been withdrawn or reversed

*A criminal background check is conducted for all applicants by the Utah DPS/BCI.

Course Cost

$50 - Pre-registration is required as class size is limited.

Completion

Students will receive a certificate of completion. In addition students will receive a permit application with Certified Instructors stamp, Passport Quality photo, and fingerprint cards.
